Franklin Tournament

Hi, this is Eva, and I'm blogging to tell you about the High Q tournament at Franklin! Since the tournament was at Franklin this month, Mom was able to drop me off so I could help set up the buzzers. Everyone from Hih Q was able to come, too, and one person from another club came to try it out. We traded off who sat out each round so the visitor could play for a round or two, and she seemed to enjoy it, albeit with a bit of deer-in-the-headlights about the questions.

The first round started off with a bit of a hitch, since we were told the wrong room to start off in and heard the first question before we were told the correct room. But after that, it went pretty smoothly. We won 2 of our seed matches, which was good enough to get us into the semifinals after lunch! However, we lost our first semifinal match, so that was sad. But I still had fun, and we might have someone who could join High Q, so that's something I'm excited about! 

The next tournament is going to be City Champs, and I hope we do well in that one. We'll just have to wait and see.
